Custom Domain

Serve your checkouts, storefront, and payment pages from your own domain with automatic SSL - no certificate wrangling.

How it works#

Attach your domain (e.g. pay.yourbrand.com) from your account settings. Traffic is served from the edge with SSL auto-provisioned - a certificate is issued and renewed for you. Once live, every buyer-facing surface answers on your domain: hosted checkouts (pay.yourbrand.com/checkout/<slug>), invoices, saved payment links, and your storefront.

Setup is DNS-only on your side: point a CNAME (or the apex record, for providers that support it) at the platform edge, and the rest happens automatically when the record resolves.

Cost#

Custom domains are billed from your credit balance at cost - $0.50 per domain per month, charged on each monthly anniversary of attaching the domain.

Domains on white-label instances#

On a white-label instance the primary domain is the instance itself (the operator's brand). Merchants on the instance can additionally attach their own custom domains the same way - each with automatic edge SSL - so a storefront can live at shop.merchant.com while running on your platform. Good to know

Custom domains inherit the full platform security posture: CSP, Trusted Types, and HSTS are served on your domain too
Existing pay.u.cash links keep working after you attach a domain - links are portable, not migrated
Branding (logo, colors) is separate from the domain - set it in your brand settings so the pages match the domain
