Updates

What changed on U.CASH Pay, newest first. The platform ships continuously; this page tracks the changes merchants notice.

August 2026#

  • Refunds in the console (8/23) - an Issue-a-refund action on completed and rejected transactions, sending the received value back to the sender through your node or Coinbase refund rail. Permission: transactions.refund.
  • Teller console (8/21 - 8/23) - tiered commissions, per-coin quick amounts (fiat and crypto), an address-capture mode selector, and wallet-backed coin tiles. Tellers get their own dashboard and RBAC role.
  • Embeddable Add Funds module (8/22) - a /topup launcher plus a drop-in topup.js script for giving any site a credit top-up modal.
  • Credit Balance page (8/22) - Balance and UCASH subpages merged into one tabbed Credit Balance page with a tabbed Add Funds card.
  • Confirmations policy (8/22) - checkouts now show each chain's real confirmation requirement (base 3 on every chain; TRX 19, XMR 10, DOGE 20; UCASH family 12 → 3).
  • Bank Payments (8/18) - manual bank rails: ACH, wire, SWIFT, SEPA, e-Transfer, FPS, PayID, plus custom rails, fully translated across all 68 languages. See Bank Payments.
  • Session posture (8/22) - bank-style idle timeout; an expired login stays logged out.
  • TRX rail (8/21) - hardened Tron scanning (base58 on bcmath) and TronScan integration.
  • x402 relayer (8/21) - ERC-8021 builder-code suffixes on settlement calldata; relayer gas billed to seller credit.
  • Console subpages (8/22) - deep-linkable subpages across Shop, POS, Teller, Account, Landers, and AI Agents areas, plus drag-to-reorder wallet chips and the sidebar hover-peek.
  • POS (8/19 - 8/20) - appearance skin picker (12 skins), density and tile-size controls, discount approval controls, and a Cards & credit tab for stored value.

July 2026#

  • Shop templates (7/28) - 20 new storefront layouts for 35 total, brought to Shopify-theme quality.
  • Shopify app (8/6) - auto-configuration endpoint so the Shopify app wires itself to your store's capture settings.
  • Agents billing (7/24) - x402 gas accounting; relayer gas plus a 21% service fee billed from seller credit.
  • Names reseller config (7/21) - super-admin reseller configuration and sales cards for .u name resale.

Upgrade behavior#

  • Checkouts, invoices, and embeds update automatically - there is nothing to install or re-deploy on your side.
  • Embedded buttons and the Add Funds module are versioned; if you self-host a copy of a script, re-copy it after a major release.
  • Breaking webhook changes are announced here ahead of time; payload additions are not considered breaking - parse unknown fields tolerantly.
